Hi everyone, Scott Munden here from Huntleigh Technology Group.

Welcome to part four and the final sequence in this segment on the key elements of an information security policy.

These are elements 10, 11, and 12, which are awareness and training, review and audit, business continuity, and disaster recovery. Some of these we’re going to have future webinars or more in-depth deep dive shorts on this, so I encourage you to stay tuned. But let’s go ahead and get started.

  • Key element number 10 is awareness and training. This one gets typically under billed, which is interesting because roughly 90 percent of the attacks come through human error. So we always encourage our customers to pay attention to this and reinforce that with your policy.
  • The 11th element is review and audit. And if you have compliance or insurance requirements, this is going to be a requirement anyway. And there’s a lot of elements of that, some of which we’ve covered, some of which we will cover in future segments.
  • The 12th key element is business continuity and disaster recovery. And this is a big topic. It also includes cyber resiliency. We’re going to have a webinar later on in the year covering this in significant detail.

So there you have it. That concludes part four and the final sequence in this segment on the key elements of an information security policy. As always, we encourage you to go to huntleigh.com/videos or huntleigh.com/blog. You can view everything we post here as well. I appreciate everybody watching and stay tuned for future segments.

Thank you.
