Hi, everyone, Scott Munden here from Huntleigh Group.

Welcome to the introduction of our four part cybersecurity series on a security roadmap.

While you see the key elements you’ll have to consider in your roadmap on the left hand side of the screen, let me give you a brief description of kind of the purpose of a roadmap. And it’s really to give you an ongoing sense of where you’re at in your program and then how you’re going to stay safe.

So essentially, it’s a comprehensive strategy for

  • deploying your technical,
  • administrative and logical controls

to effectively address your cybersecurity risks.

It also promotes active threat management, regulatory compliance, judicious use of resources, and clear communication with your stakeholders, swift incident response, and the continuous enhancement of your cybersecurity stance. So that’s a broad, sweeping view of the purpose of this.

In the next segments, we’re going to go into more detail on how you should develop and consider those different elements you see on the left hand side of your screen.

So thanks for watching. Stay tuned and we’ll see you soon.
