The first 60 days built the foundation.
You’ve mapped your systems, named owners, drafted fallback processes, and even walked through a real scenario.
Now it’s time to take the final step: operationalize what works.
Days 61–90 are about turning progress into practice.
This is where structure becomes sustainable, and resilience becomes part of the way your business runs.
Week 9–10: Rehearse, Refine, Reassign
1. Rehearse a New Scenario
Don’t repeat the first one, expand it:
- Pick a different trigger (e.g., data breach, supplier outage, SaaS platform failure).
- Involve a different team.
- Time it, see how long it takes to move from detection to action.
2. Refine Roles
- Were they responsive?
- Did people escalate to them as planned?
- If not, reassign with clarity, not blame.
3. Refresh Your Documentation
- Post updated call trees.
- Finalize your system owners and targets.
- Make a printed fallback plan available in at least 2 locations.
Week 11–12: Close Strong with a Resilience Review
1. Run a 30-Minute Resilience Debrief
- What worked?
- What was unclear?
- What still feels shaky?
Capture real-world feedback, not just what looks good on paper.
2. Score Your Systems Again
Repeat the red/yellow/green scale from Week 4, but now with drill insights.
You’ll see which areas improved… and which ones still need focus.
3. Prioritize the Next 90 Days
Use the new scores to:
- Build a top 3–5 item backlog
- Assign owners
- Set dates to review again (ideally every 90 days)
Tip: Share the Wins
Make your progress visible:
- Update leadership with what’s improved.
- Thank the people who stepped up.
- Communicate the results to staff: “Here’s what we’ve done. Here’s what’s next.”
Momentum comes from shared wins, not siloed checklists.
Final Thought
Days 61–90 are about reinforcing the habits that will carry you into Year 1.
By the end of the third month, you should have:
✔️ Tested multiple scenarios
✔️ Built accountability into your org chart
✔️ Created tools your team will actually use
That’s not theory. That’s operational resilience.
And it’s just the beginning.
